A Video Game Trailer!

I had the opportunity to provide a voice over for my first video game trailer this past week. I've been a gamer since the early 1980s, when the Atari 2600 pretty much took over my life. While I don't have time to play as much as I used to, I still hop on my XBox One when I can so I can decompress (ie. shoot lots of things). Here's the trailer for Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble, coming out for the Nintendo Switch this spring: I have a lot of different voice over goals, and this was actually a big one. It was fun, and I love the result. I don't own a Switch, so likely won't be playing this particular game, but this could open the door to other opportunities. Have fun watching! #rickbarrvoiceove

Two Years

It was two years ago today that I quit my job, left my IT career, and became a full-time musician and voice over actor. After 23 years working as a full-time employee or consultant, the change was radical, something I hadn’t even been considering as we entered 2017.
