"CUTS"

WARNING: This collection of John and myself, while extremely funny and insane, is full of very, very vulgar material and surely is offensive to some people out there. Fortunately, if you're at this site in the first place, you're very likely the type of person that will appreciate it. I created this collection when we graduated high school, and it filled two sides of a cassette. It is nearly 90 minutes long and contains nearly two years worth of stuff, from over 10 different tapes that I had to scour just to find something worth listening to (well, I'll leave that for you to decide). To make it easier for you to hear everything (since you may not be able to take it all in at once), I've divided it into 5 equal parts, about 18 minutes each. In the 3rd part, you may notice some "screeching". The tape was mighty old by the time I transferred it to digital, and it's just about worn out. Hopefully that won't hinder your ability to enjoy these fine recordings!

If you were to listen to the original tapes these bits came from, you'd notice that most of them come right in-between serious songwriting attempts. Sometimes we might be playing along nicely, and from out of nowhere would come some new form of depravity. None of it was ever rehearsed in any way, and that actually makes it even more worth the listen, because I find it somewhat amazing that more often than not, we would switch into different modes almost simultaneously. If I started playing something completely different all of a sudden, John could adjust. None of it mattered, and we sung on the fly.

After you listen to it, you may be surprised that I actually edited it just a tiny bit for its' debut to the public. That's right, July 2005 is the first time anyone outside of John, myself, and our significant others have ever heard this. It's one of the few things I've done that I've thought was too extreme for the general public. But, I feel much better now that I've provided you with disclaimers, and I only had to take out about 25 seconds worth of.....well, just bad stuff. Hey, what do you expect from a couple of 17 year-olds? Trust me, you won't miss it.

Part 1Highlights: Singing parts of "Hey Jude" randomly, a short but hilarious exchange with my mom, and "Lola".
Part 2Highlights: "Blackbird" which turns into a funny improv take on John's date, good version of "Sloop John B." and a really raunchy take on "Hey Jude".
Part 3Highlights: "Lola", a diddy about John being a bastard on fire, and I completely desecrate "Jack Be Nimble".
Part 4Highlights: "I Think We're Alone Now", crazy version of "Justin Climbed A Tree" followed by a nice jam, nicely improvised song about a girl, and a rap!
Part 5Highlights: Our best version of "Peggy Sue" yet, a nice version of our song "Annetta" goes bad, Gargantua attacks!, another small rap, and a nice fart to end things on a proper note.
